Below is a list of some of the items we are looking for.  Hopefully this will help you in your quest to unload some of your treasures.

We accept  most types of furniture items such as sofas, chairs, bureaus, coffee tables, end tables & occasional tables. Cabinets, bookcases, wall shelving, benches, fireplace mantles and accessories.  We always consider anything funky or unusual--or an item that has been reused in a stylish way.  We accept very few entertainment centers (Flat screens are the rage) — we will however, consider closet style armoires that can be used as storage cabinets.

 ** Photos are required for larger or questionable pieces.

Kitchen and Dining room sets. Must have minimum of 4 chairs. We take all styles new and vintage—must be of finer quality ,comtemporary, retro  or eclectic.   We accept entire sets or single serving pieces. 

 *note we take very few hutches –they can be a ball and chain.   However, we do take some.     Perhaps the next generation just doesn’t use them to display dishes anymore? Who knows?  Just forward us a photo to our link for approval, furnishings@opusnh.com.

Lighting to include chandeliers, sconces, lamps, current or vintage styles —finer or eclectic brands only- all must be clean with glass cleaner and have working light bulbs.

Rugs- We accept 8x10 and under—must be excellent condition, rolled and taped with design side facing out. Must be tagged with measured size. We will not accept otherwise.

Mirrors, pictures and artwork- ALL must be ready to hang and cleaned with Windex. We will only accept ones we can hang on the wall. * Please come prepared with info on any artwork that is signed by artist-this will allow us the opportunity to price it accordingly.

Designer or finer quality household items such as linens, vases, statues,lawn candleholders,cookware, lawn & garden. Must be seasonably appropriate and finer quality and a desirable style- contemporary, vintage, traditional etc.

Glassware: We accept very little clear glass- Yes even crystal.   It must be an exceptional or unusual piece in order for it to sell. We are also looking for colored or decorative wine glasses, mugs, dishes and china.  New, vintage or any desirable designs.

*No single pieces, please. Must be minimum set of 4pcs.  

We accept unusual salvage items such as doors, columns, bookcases, cabinets, sinks & tubs.  However,  due to limited floor space, please send a photo to our furnishings@opusnh.com link for approval.

Antiques & the Unusual: OPUS is always open to any items that may be used or reused in an unusual way. If you have items that you are not sure we would take due to condition or desirability-please feel free to send us a photo. Often it is the item that you think we would not take that is the first one we pick.   Go figure.  Please allow 72 hours for a response.

We do NOT accept:

Knick knacks of any kind

Sewing machines, radios or appliances

Electronics or items needing rewiring

Irons w/ cords or Ironing boards

Books or records- unless collector items

Furniture that is missing parts or broken pieces

 * As a general rule if you think we could not put a minimum of $10 on an item then it is probably not something we would take.
